War on The Shore at Evanston Township with some area ranked teams on Saturday. I went to Central Illinois to check out the Midwest Crossroads Showcase at West (Normal). Stevenson (Lincolnshire), Leo Catholic (Chicago) are new to the poll. Hersey (Arlington Heights), and Glenbrook North (Northbrook) drop out. Waukegan barely hangs on. Here we go:

1) Benet Academy (Lisle) (25-1) (4A): Keeps rolling beating DeSmet (St Louis) at Glenbrook South (Glenview) Shootout. Friday host Notre Dame (Niles), Saturday host Perspectives Leadership (Chicago).

2) DePaul College Prep (Chicago) (21-3) (4A): Beat Brother Rice (Chicago). Already clinched the Chicago Catholic League Blue Title. Friday at #24 St Laurence (Burbank).

3) Kankakee (19-1) (3A): 3-0 week including win over #22 Mount Carmel (Chicago) at Spartan Super Sunday Showcase at Oak Lawn. Tuesday at Crete Monee, Friday host Rich Township, Saturday Hyde Park Academy (Chicago) at their own shootout.

4) Curie (Chicago) (20-1) (4A): Won by forfeit over North Grand (Chicago) in Chicago Public League Red Playoffs. Tuesday host Little Village (Chicago) in Quadrant Final Eight of West Conference. Saturday vs #9 Glenbard East (Lombard) at Kankakee Shootout.

5) Warren (Gurnee) (21-2) (4A): Went 4-0 on the week beating rival #25 Waukegan in the process for the second time this season. Wednesday at Mundelein, Friday at #20 Stevenson (Lincilnshire), Saturday at #14 Evanston Township.

6) Neuqua Valley (Naperville) (24-1) (4A): Went 3-0 for the week close win over previous ranked Hersey (Arlington Heights). Friday host Waubonsie Valley (Aurora), Saturday host Burlington Central (Hampshire).

7) St Patrick (Chicago) (19-3) (4A): Moves into Top 10 after beating previous #5 Marist (Chicago). Won 5 in a row. Tuesday host #19 Loyola Academy (Wilmette), Friday host Carmel Catholic (Mundelein), Saturday host Jones (Chicago).

8) Kaneland (Maple Park) (23-0) (3A): Stayed undefeated with a big time fourth quarter run against LaSalle Peru. Good chance of ending regular season undefeated. Tuesday at Rochelle, Saturday host Sycamore.

9) Glenbard East (Lombard) (23-2) (4A): Hasn't lost a game in 2026 so far. Won 11 in a row. Tuesday at Riverside Brookfield, Friday host Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn), Saturday vs #4 Curie (Chicago) at Kankakee Shootout.

10) Marist (Chicago) (21-4) (4A): Lost to previous #11 St Patrick (Chicago) which caused drop in the poll. Tuesday at Brooks (Chicago), Friday host Nazareth Academy (LaGrange), Saturday host West Aurora.

11) Homewood Flossmoor (20-3) (4A): Beat previous #18 Loyola Academy (Wilmette) at War On The Shore at Evanston Township. Tuesday host Lincoln Way Central (New Lenox), Friday at Stagg (Palos Heights).

12) Bolingbrook (18-6) (4A): Beat previous #12 Evanston Township at War On The Shore at Evanston Township. Senior point guard Michigan Tech commit Trey Brost is back from injury and has made a big difference.
