I want to apologize but my pictures for some reason are still not loading here. Will likely change sites real soon, but in the meantime here we are. Thanks for Coach Treal Holland, staff, hospitality room and front desk for putting on such a great event. This event had a lot of under the radar talent nationally. Here we go:

THEM DALLAS BOYZ AKA THE DALLAS MUSTANGS DOMINATED WINNING 15U AND 17U:

The young men from the DFW have been dominant in high school basketball for awhile now. Have produced countless NBA players such as Chris Bosh, Tyrese Maxey, Anthony Black, Keyonte George, Cason Wallace, Cade Cunningham, Jordan Walsh to name a few. The skill level from the young men from this area is high, and they pick you up 84 feet with no relief. Quickness personified especially for these two teams in the same program. Great coaching minds from the area contribute to it's dominance.

15U:

Braylon Manning (5'10" point guard) was dominant in the title game. His three level scoring kept ABCSpotlight Mason at bay in the title game. He was MVP of the game with 26 points (18 in the second half) added 4 threes to carry his Dallas Mustang team to victory. Controlled the pace of the game attacking from the perimeter and in transition. He was helped by Brycen Patton (5'10" point guard) with 13 points (1 three). ABC was led by LaMar Morina (5'9" point guard) with 22 points (1 three) attacking the rim and scoring in mid range. Olon Williams (5'11" combo guard) added 15 points (3 threes).

17U:

Y n R Brim (IL) came in as the favorite and #1 seed dominating the RecruitLook season even beating Dallas Mustangs once. James Spears (6'7" forward) used his big body to dominate this game on the interior. He was MVP of the game with 18 points and a bunch of rebounds. Powered through for baskets and hit a couple of turnaround fadeaway jumpers just outside the lane. Amarion Hunter (6'3" point guard) led his Dallas Carter team to the UIL Texas Class 4A Division II State Title this winter winning MVP honors. . Leads another team to a title this summer. Totaled 20 points (2 threes) on three level scoring and controlling the tempo of the game. Young man is just a winner. Jaxon Thomas (6'1" combo guard) added 13 point (1 three) to the total. Markese Peoples (6'3" point guard) added 19 points (1 three) for Y n R Brim which was nationally ranked by The Circuit rankings all season long. Hayden Schroeder (6'8" forward) had 14 points, and Jamier Montgomery (6'2" combo guard) 11 points (1 three) shooting 70% from the field in the entire tournament.

VWBA ELITE WINS 16U WITH A CONVINCING VICTORY OVER Y N R BRIM:

Big time playmakers, scorers, and athletes made this one a run away early. Keenan Poulsen (6'1" point guard) was scoring at all with 22 points (3 threes) and was MVP of the game. Israel "Izzy" Johnigan (6'6" forward) is a two sport athlete and three star TE in football gave energy, crashing the glass, and changing ends to get rebounds. DeAnthony Hicks Jr (6'4" wing) is another two sport athlete who gave energy on both ends. Elijah Curtis (6'2" combo guard) added 9 points. Jeremiah Toney (6'2" wing) of Y n R Brim led with 13 points.

BRANDON MASON JR IS A TOP 100 PLAYER AND SHOWED IT:

Class of 2027 6'6" combo guard of ABC Spotlight Jansen (NM) had 28 points (2 threes) vs OWE (LA) with three level scoring as well as efficiency. Makes scoring look easy out there as well as having an edge to him. Will play at Link Academy (MO) this coming season.

MARKESE PEOPLES OF YNR BRIM 17U IS A MONSTER, POSSIBLY #1 IN ILLINOIS:

Class of 2027 6'3" point guard absolutely dominated the semifinal vs SW Jets (IL) McFadden. Scored 31 points attacking the rim from the perimeter, and employed in the middle of the zone. Once he gets the ball at 15 feet out, forget about it. He's scoring, getting fouled, or both. Powers through and around contact to finish. Uses spin moves, and his body very well. It's hard to load up on him even from the perimeter, as he attacks with in and out dribbles, crossovers, and spin moves.

HAMMERIN HANK IS A DO IT ALL FORWARD WHO BURROWS THROUGH AND AROUND DEFENSES:

Class of 2027 6'6" forward Hank Smith for Huestis Elite (MT) 17U can score on pick and pop threes, in the post and right off the post. He powers through and around contact to score. Takes his time in the paint to get the defender to jump, and scores around him as well. Had a double/double in the game I saw as he gathers in rebounds offensive and defensive.

#1 CLASS OF 2028 PLAYER IN NORTH DAKOTA IS A DO IT ALL POINT GUARD:

6'4" point guard Khaliq Austin of Pack Black (ND) 16U is a three level scorer who can make nice passes, as well as shoot it from deep. He gets to wherever he wants off the dribble, getting into the paint to create for himself and others. Has size and foot spped to defend all perimeter positions. One of the best out of the Dakotas I've seen in awhile.

SAMFREE SARANTE IS AN INTENSE SCORING WING WHO HATES TO LOSE:

Class o0f 2027 6'4" combo guard of Miami (FL) Triple Threat 17U scored 33 points (4 threes) in a sudden death overtime loss to SW Jets McFadden (IL). Did some impressive three level scoring trying to will his team to the win. It was how he reacted to the loss that got my attention. He was genuinely upset at the loss, you don't see that too often in this travel environment. Instense young man in a good way that is infectuous to his teammates. College coaches should want a young man with his talent and intensity on your team.

DYLAN FRANKLIN IS A THREE LEVEL SCORER ANOTHER OF THE TALENTED GUARDS IN CLASS OF 2027 NATIONALLY:

Class of 2027 6'3" point guard for Lone Star Elite (TX) 17U is a three level scorer who has a smooth step back jumper. Scored 13 points (3 threes) vs VWBA Elite (MO) using his smooth dribble to get loose for his jumper, and get to the rim and finish. Knows how to use the pick and roll, well to get a jumper, or make a smooth bounce pass to his rolling big man.

NOAH WADE IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST SLEEPER PROSPECTS IN ILLINOIS:

Class of 2027 6'4" combo guard for Frontline Basketball (IL) is a King of Bounce who can shoot from deep and mid range. He had a nasty two hand dunk in game vs Wisconsin Swing Bresden. Scored 19 points (1 three) in the win. Slasher to the basket off the dribble in transition or in the halfcourt. Have to put a body on him or he'll embarrass you with a game changing dunk over a defender. Add a smooth stroke to the arsenal and you have a very good college prospect.

DRAKE COMMIT BRANT WASSENAAR WAS SCORING ALL OVER THE COURT:

Class of 2027 6'5" combo guard for Team Warrick 17U Warner was hitting threes, attacks to the rim, and mid range pull-ups vs M14 Hoops. Scored 23 points (3 threes) in the win. Plays as well on the ball as he does off the ball. Moves to shooting spots to shoot spot up threes, or step backs.

DUNK OF THE EVENT:

Dallas Mustangs again. Class of 2027 Ashton "JuJu" Minor is a three sport athlete and state qualifier in the triple jump in the state of Texas. 6'2" combo guard received a pass in transtion and executed a tomahawk one hand dunk over two defenders vs VWBA (MO). Started his jump from just inside the free throw line and soared for the crowd pleasing dunk.

DEANDRE STEWART IS A SMALL GUARD WHO IS A THREE LEVEL SCORER WITH A QUICK RELEASE:

Class of 2028 5'8" point guard for SW Jets Blaha (IL) 16U scored 17 points (1 three) on mostly mid range jumpers and attacking the rim in transtion and halfcourt. Stops on the dime and goes straight up for his jumper. Quickness from baseline to baseline is tough to deal with.

OAKLEY TRUEBLOOD IS A TALL SNIPER FROM THREE:

Class of 2027 6'9" wing for ND Phenom Symens 17U hits threes at a high rate, off the dribble. the catch, side step, doesn't matter. Shoots them from deep 25 to 30 feet as well as right at the line. Hit 4 of them in a row for 20 points in win over Y n R Black.

KING OF BOUNCE LEON POWELL HAD A COUPLE OF NASTY POSTER DUNKS IN THE EVENT:

Class of 2027 6'6" wing for SW Jets McFadden had a couple of nasty two handed dunks in transtion over multiple defenders. Showed a nice mid range jumper as well as attacks off the dribble to the rim and the aformentioned finishes.
