Mid Suburban East game as Buffalo Grove came in undefeated in the division and Rolling Meadows with one loss which was to Buffalo Grove a couple of weeks ago at Rolling Meadows. This game was at Buffalo Grove.

This was a shootout at the OK Corral between Max Christie(6'6" guard) who is a consensus Top 15 player in the junior class and #1 in Illinois on Rolling Meadows side. Then you have Kam Craft(6'5" guard) a Top 5 sophomore in the State of Illinois. Craft came out firing in the first quarter with 11 points to give Buffalo Grove a 16-15 lead at the end of the quarter. Max Christie came out firing with 15 of his 22 first half points in the second quarter to give Rolling Meadows a 34-26 halftime lead as Craft went scoreless in the quarter. The rest of the game into overtime it was back and forth as Craft owned the third quarter as Buffalo Grove end the third quarter with a 45-40 lead as Christie only scored 2 points in the quarter. The fourth quarter Max Christie came alive again and brought Rolling Meadows back into the game with some clutch baskets. Meanwhile Craft kept being aggressive and hit some tough shots himself. Freshman guard Cam Christie hit an 18 footer to tie the game with 30 seconds left in regulation. Then Craft hits a three to give Buffalo Grove a 64-62 lead with 21.3 seconds left in regulation. Max Christie was fouled near the sideline with 9.4 seconds left and hits both to tie at 64. Buffalo Grove got off a three point shot and missed. Overtime. In the overtime period Craft kept scoring as he had 8 in the first overtime period, and senior guard Jonah Ogunsaya and Cam Christie hit big baskets in the first overtime. Craft had a three point look at the buzzer in first overtime that missed. Max Christie hit 6 points in the second overtime(4 of them free throws), and finished the game with a coast to coast drive and dunk. The best game I've seen all year. Rolling Meadows was led by Max Christie with 42 points 15 rebounds 3 assists and 4 blocks. He was supported by Ogunsaya's 15 points, and Cam Christie's 14 points 3 assists. Buffalo Grove was led by Craft's 46 points 8 rebounds 3 steals and 3 blocks. He was supported by senior forward Nate Cole's 12 points. Rolling Meadows ups it's record to 15-7, while Buffalo Grove dropped to 20-6.
