#12 North (Downers Grove) showed the ultimate team game in home win tonight!!!!!!

My first time in the gym at Downers Grove North, first thing I noticed are the bleachers being so far away from the court. Very unusual but very nice gym and school is not far off I88. Here we go:

#12 North (Downers Grove) 68 Proviso West (Hillside) 36: This was a methodical beatdown as North never trailed in the game. Led 16-10 after one quarter, 33-19 at halftime, 51-31 after three. North played ten players in the rotation tonight as they share the ball well, and make the extra pass. They have size, multiple shooters from three, rim protect not by blocking shots, but getting position in the lane and using their size. Hits the glass on both ends of the court, and have bigs who can score on the block. Thing is they might play too many people, an eight man rotation would be ideal, but they may just have the talent to play that many. Seems to be working well this season as they have just one loss on the year. North was led by senior guard Maxwell Haack's 12 points and 4 assists. Jacob Bozeman with 11 points 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. He had a followup jam opportunity that almost brought the house down but he missed. Junior big man Jake Reimer had 9 points and 6 rebounds. North also survived a quiet night from junior guard Jack Stanton who had 8 points and 2 steals tonight. Three different players had at least 5 rebounds, four different players had at least 3 assists. Proviso West had two players tied for team high in points with 12, forward Keshawn Hobson, and freshman point guard Rajan Roberts. Downers Grove North ups it's record to 8-1, 3-0 in West Suburban Silver. Proviso West drops to 4-5, 0-3 in conference.
