Ida Crown wins their second regional title this year, won one last year as well going back to back.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Skokie) 52 Lycee De Francais (Chicago) 47:

SKOKIE: Ida Crown Jewish Academy play rude host to Lycee De Francais taking over the game in the third quarter and held on to advance. Ida Crown moves the ball well in the half court, makes good cuts off the ball, and sets picks off the ball to get layups. They are also quick off the dribble and can attack the rim. It's a variation of dribble drive and Princeton cuts. Play very good team defense employing a 2-3 zone and sending everyone to the defensive glass. Ida Crown led 12-10 after one quarter, 23-22 at recess. Lycee took a 5 point lead midway into the third quarter, then Ida Crown scored six straight points to take a lead they would never relinquish. They led 40-36 after three quarters. Lycee cut the lead to two a few times in the fourth quarter, but Ida Crown responded with a basket, usually off a backdoor cut, or an attack to the rim. Lycee was hurt by sophomore Jordie Machara fouling out in the fourth quarter. Lycee was down 50-47 and sophomore Bonheir Balita took a long three with a chance to tie but missed and fouled senior Judah Well who hit two free throws with 4.1 seconds left to put the game away.

Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Skokie) ups it's record to 24-1 and advances to Momence IHSA Class 1A Sectional on Tuesday vs Fenger (Chicago)

Lycee De Francais (Chicago) ends season at 23-10-1.
