All-In Athletics had their media day for boys basketball. Thanks to Billy Welcome, Ryan Gilbert and the other coaches for having me there. They are on the Adidas Gold and NY2LA Circuits. They are not covered or watched as much as other shoe company programs. Some good basketball was played in the scrimmages. Location was Berto Center in Deerfield, Illinois. Check them out at multiple events this Spring and Summer.

Some of the top performances:

2026 ADIDAS GOLD-KAY:

KAIN KRETSCHMAR: 6'4" shooting guard, Lake Zurich:

Knockdown shooter from three was attacking the rim off the bounce in transition. Made some nice passes in the scrimmages. Look for a big Spring and Summer on the Adidas Gold Circuit. Good size for a guard and deceptively quick. Should be one the biggest scorers in the state and the North Suburban conference next season.

ADRIAN SERRANO, 6'0" combo guard, Waukegan:

He hit a couple of threes in the scrimmages, attacked the rim off the bounce in the halfcourt. Plays tough defense. Ws the fifth wheel on the Waukegan team this past season. Big Spring and Sumer for his recruitment. Will have a bigger role on a state title contender next season.

TIMI OGUNSANYA, 6'3" combo guard, Evanston Township:

Known as a catch and shoot three point shooter, showed he can attack the rim off the bounce in these scimmages. Defends multiple perimeter positions. Look for a bigger role on a team that just finished third in the state in Class 4A, but lost a lot of pieces.

ADAM BAUER, 6'7" forward, Cary Grove:

Strong in the paint, scoring with back to the basket, and hitting both backboards on the glass. Stepped out and hit a couple of threes, and attacked the basket off the bounce. Should be the star at Cary Grove.

2026 NY2LA-FIGUEROA:

LEBRON MASSEY JR, 6'0" point guard, Cristo Rey St Martin College Prep (Waukegan):

Underrated talent that plays at a non descipt high schol. Two end monster in the scrimmages, scored in the mid range on two dribble pull-ups in halfcourt. Scored on attacking drives to the rim. Defended on the ball at a high level, and made some nice passes in transition. Should make a name for himself this Spring and Summer.

AVONN KING, 6'4" wing, Warren Township (Gurnee):

Lefty was scoring at will in the mid range on pull-up jumpers. Drove to the rim and scored on slick moves with his left hand. Made some nice passes, along with hitting a couple of threes. Look for him to step up as a big time scorer for Class 4A runners-up Warren Township (Gurnee). Big Spring and Summer for him.

AVERY LEE, 6'3" combo guard, Central (Crystal Lake):

He was knocking down threes like they were layups. Hitting them off the catch and off the bounce. Was getting some penetration off the bounce. Big time sniper from behind the arc.

2027 NY2LA-GILBERT:

TIMOTHY SIROTYUK, 6'5" wing, Stevenson (Lincolnshire):

Showed nice three point stroke as well as attacking the rim off the bounce. Used his long atrms to get rebounds and catch alley oops for dunks. Look for a big jump this Spring and Summer and for Stevenson.

2028 ADIDAS GOLD-BRAVERMAN:

CHARLIE LAPPIN, 5'9" point guard, Glenbrook North (Northbrook):

He was playing like a floor general. He scored from three, on drives to the rim, set up teammates with penetration and dishes, defended hard on the ball.

LANDON REINER, 5'7" point guard, Loyola Academy (Wilmette):

He was doing a lot of distributing to shooters, and feeding the post to the big men. Scored on driving layups, as well as hitting catch and shoot threes.

BIGUUN ANKHBAYAR, 5'11" point guard, Stevenson (Lincolnshire):

Showed he could make some nice passes to set up baskets for teammates. Scored on drives to the paint, hitting pull-up jump shots and driving layups. Touched the paint multiple times off the dribble, and hit a couple of threes.

ANDREY MARKOV, 6'1" combo guard, Buffalo Grove:

He was scoring on drives to the rim in transtion as well as the half court. Was very aggressive on both ends of the court, getting rebounds, pushing the ball on the dribble. Put pressure n ball handlers on the ball, getting deflections and steals.

2028 NY2LA BLACK-GILBERT:

DEANGELO RODRIGUEZ, JR, 6'0" point guard, Maine West (Des Plaines):

He was doing everyhing out there. Floor general was scoring from mid range, on drives to the rim, in transtion, and in the half court. Defending on the ball getting steals, and in passing lanes. Had a few athletic hanging finishes at the rim.
