Class of 2020 6'8" forward Seryee Lewis is transferring from Morgan Park(Chicago) to Arizona Compass Prep(Chandler,AZ). He's been at Marist(Chicago), Kenwood(Chicago), and Morgan Park(Chicago). He transferred to Morgan Park(Chicago) in the off season from Kenwood(Chicago). He was supposed to be their force on the interior, now he will not play a game for the Mustangs. He played travel basketball for Mac Irvin Fire(IL) this past Spring and Summer. This is a big loss for Morgan Park(Chicago) as they would have contended for #1 overall in the State, the City Title, and been favored for the Class 3A State Title. This development will change what my preseason rankings may have been unless Morgan Park(Chicago) has another Big that I do not know about. I'll keep them as the Class 3A favorite(for now) but this opens things up for schools like Notre Dame College Prep(Niles), Bogan(Chicago), and a few other contenders.
