1) Benet Academy (Lisle) (31-1) (4A): Won Trail (Addison) Regional with ease. Tuesday vs Lake Park (Roselle) in Bartlett Sectional Semifinal.
2) Simeon Career Academy (Chicago) (28-3) (3A): Won Simeon Career Academy (Chicago) Regional in blowout fashion in Coach Robert Smith's last home game. Tuesday against St Laurence (Burbank) in Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn) Sectional Semifinal.
3) Kenwood Academy (Chicago) (26-6) (4A): Cruised through the Rich Township (Richton Park) Regional. Tuesday against Bloom Township (Chicago Heights) in St Rita (Chicago) Sectional Semifinal.
4) West (Joliet) (27-5) (4A): Won West (Joliet) Sectional in efficient fashion. Tuesday against Lincoln Way East (Frankfort) in Bolingbrook Sectional Semifinal.
5) Hinsdale Central (30-3) (4A): Breezed through Lane Tech (Chicago) Regional. Wednesday against #21 Lyons Township (LaGrange) in Hinsdale Central Sectional Semifinal.
6) New Trier (Winnetka) (29-4) (4A): Ran through Niles North (Skokie) Regional. Tuesday against #18 Glenbrook South (Glenview) in New Trier (Winnetka) Sectional Semifinal.
7) North (Downers Grove) (29-3) (4A): Won North (Downers Grove) Regional. Tuesday against #8 Whitney Young (Chicago) in Hinsdale Central Sectional Semifinal.
8) Whitney Young (Chicago) (23-6) (4A): No problems in Summit (Argo) Regional. Tuesday against #7 North (Downers Grove) in Hinsdale Central Sectional Semifinal.
9) Hillcrest (Country Club Hills) (27-3) (3A): Advanced out of Brooks (Chicago) Regional without a sweat. Tuesday against #23 Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City) in Hillcrest (Country Club Hills) Sectional Semifinal.
10) Brother Rice (Chicago) (29-4) (4A): Barely broke a sweat in Eisenhower (Blue Island) Regional. Wednesday against #11 St Rita (Chicago) in St Rita (Chicago) Sectional Semifinal.
11) St Rita (Chicago) (23-10) (4A): Bulldozed through Stagg (Palos Heights) Regional. Wednesday against #10 Brother Rice (Chicago) in St Rita (Chicago) Sectional Semifinal.
12) Glenbrook North (Northbrook) (27-4) (4A): No Josh Fridman, no problem boat racing opponents in Glenbrook North (Northbrook) Regional. Wednesday against #17 Rolling Meadows in New Trier (Winnetka) Sectional Semifinal.
13) East (Oswego) (27-5) (4A): Not many issues in Lincoln Way West (Frankfort) Regional. Wednesday against #19 Bolingbrook in Bolingbrook Sectional Semifinal.
14) Perspectives Leadership (Chicago) (22-11) (2A): Housed everyone they played in South Shore International College Prep (Chicago) Regional. Tuesday against University (Chicago) at Julian (Chicago) Sectional Semifinal.
15) Hyde Park Academy (Chicago) (24-6) (3A): Breezed through Nazareth Academy (LaGrange) Regional. Wednesday against #16 Mount Carmel (Chicago) in Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn) Sectional Semifinal.
16) Mount Carmel (Chicago) (26-6) (3A): Easy pickings in Mount Carmel (Chicago) Regional. Wednesday against #15 Hyde Park Academy (Chicago) in Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn) Sectional Semifinal.
17) Rolling Meadows (27-6) (4A): Took care of business in Rolling Meadows Regional. Wednesday against #12 Glenbrook North (Northbrook) in New Trier Sectional Semifinal.
18) Glenbrook South (Glenview) (25-8) (4A): Had a doozy of a tight one in Conant (Hoffman Estates) Regional final against Evanston Township. Tuesday against #6 New Trier (Winnetka) in New Trier (Winnetka) Sectional Semifinal. Will senior Rodell Davis be available?
19) Bolingbrook (25-7) (4A): Had some stressful moments in Waubonsie Valley (Aurora) Regional but survived and made it back to their home court for Sectional play. Wednesday against #13 East (Oswego) in Bolingbrook Sectional Semifinal.
20) Lemont (27-6) (3A): Had a tight Thornton (Harvey) Regional Final but survived and advanced. Wednesday against Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights) in Hillcrest (Country Club Hills) Sectional Semifinal.
21) Lyons Township (LaGrange) (26-5) (4A): Survived a tight one against previously #10 Curie (Chicago) on they home court in regional final. Wednesday against #5 Hinsdale Central in Hinsdale Central Sectional Semifinal.
22) Warrenville South (Wheaton) (28-5) (4A): Back in poll. Was very efficient in winning the West Chicago Regional. Wednesday against Geneva in Bartlett Sectional.
23) Thornton Fractional North (21-5) (3A): Won Kankakee Regional. Tuesday against #9 Hillcrest (Country Hills) in Hillcrest (Country Club Hills) Sectional Semifinal.
24) Curie (Chicago) (20-11) (4A): Lost to Lyons Township (LaGrange) on the road in Sectional Final. Season complete.
25) Libertyville (27-5) (4A): Back in poll. Double digit win on the road at Warren (Gurnee) Regional Final. They have another road game on Tuesday at Barrington Sectional against host Barrington.
Dropped out: Palatine and Proviso East (Maywood).
