2) Benet Academy (Lisle) (30-5) (4A): Beat #16 Waubonsie Valley (Aurora) and North (Downers Grove) to win their own Sectional. Plays Quincy at Illinois State (Bloomington) Supersectional.

22) Dyett (Chicago) (24-7) (2A): New to the poll. No superstar on the team just a lot of scoring threats that average from 9 to 15 points a game. Good defensvie team. Seniors Rickey Coleman, Aramis Brown Jr, and Jaden McKinnon are top players. Junior Jah'mir Brown is the top defender. Junior Jacob Johnson is the inside force.
