One more week till the end of the season. Some will drop out, others will enter as Supersectional Monday is almost upon us. 1 vs 3 on Monday for right to head to Champaign. Here we go:

1. Curie (Chicago) (31-2) (4A): Ran through Riverside Brookfield Sectional beating Whitney Young (Chicago) and Simeon Career Academy (Chicago). Plays #3 Homewood Flossmoor at Credit Union One Arena (UIC) Supersectional.

2) DePaul College Prep (Chicago) (32-2) (3A): Won St Viator (Arlington Heights) Sectional allowing 21 points a game. Plays #12 South (Crystal Lake) at NOW Arena (Hoffman Estates) Supersectional.

3) Homewood Flossmoor (30-4) (4A): Wins Rich South (Richton Park) Sectional winning a tough semifinal and double digit title game. Plays #1 Curie (Chicago) at Credit Union Arena (UIC) Supersectional.

4) Thornton Township (Harvey) (29-4) (3A): Won their own sectional beating #8 Brother Rice (Chicago) in title game. Plays state ranked Richwoods (Peoria) in Ottawa Supersectional.

5) North (Downers Grove) (31-4) (4A): Won toughest sectional title in the state East Aurora beating #9 ranked Bolingbrook in title game. Plays state ranked Normal Community in Bloomington/Normal Supersectional (ISU).

6) Mount Carmel (Chicago) (30-5) (3A): Breezed through Hinsdale South (Darien) Sectional playing without senior Lee Marks IV. Plays #20 St Patrick (Chicago) at Credit Union One Arena (UIC) Supersectional.

7) Warren Township (Gurnee) (31-4) (4A): Dog walked (as I predicted) the Guilford (Rockford) Sectional. Plays #14 Palatine at DeKalb Supersectional (NIU).

8) Brother Rice (Chicago) (31-4) (3A): Lost to #4 Thornton Township (Harvey) on their home court. Season complete.

9) Bolingbrook (27-5) (4A): Lost to #5 North (Downers Grove) in East Aurora Sectional Final. Season complete.

10) Beecher (34-0) (2A): Won first sectional title in school history at Central (Clifton). Plays #19 Wendell Phillips Academy (Chicago) at Central (Joliet) Supersectional.

11) Waubonsie Valley (Aurora) (28-3) (4A): Lost to North (Downers Grove) in East Aurora Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

12) South (Crystal Lake) (31-3) (3A): Won first sectional title in 41 years at Kaneland (Maple Park) Sectional. Plays #2 DePaul College Prep (Chicago) at NOW Center (Hoffman Estates) Supersectional.

13) New Trier (Winnetka) (28-7) (4A): Won Maine South (Park Ridge) Sectional over #24 Glenbrook North (Northbrook) on last second shot for second year in a row in title game. Sophomore point guard Chris Kirkpatrick did the honors on the three point shot. Plays #21 Glenbard North (Carol Stream) at NOW Center (Hoffman Estates) Supersectional.

14) Palatine (26-8) (4A): Won Elgin Sectional. Plays #7 Warren Township (Gurnee) at DeKalb (NIU) Supersectional.

15) Kankakee (28-5) (3A): Lost to Richwoods (Peoria) in Pontiac Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

16) Marist (Chicago) (29-5) (4A): Lost to Bloom Township (Chicago Heights) at Rich South (Richton Park) Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

17) Kenwood Academy (Chicago) (24-8) (4A): Lost to Simeon Career Academy (Chicago) at Riverside Brookfield Sectional Semifinal. Crazy season especially the end of it is complete.

18) Wendell Phillips Academy (Chicago) (22-9) (2A): Won Corliss (Chicago) Sectional with ease. Plays #10 Beecher at Central (Joliet) Supersectional.

19) Benet Academy (Lisle) (27-7) (4A): Lost to #9 Bolingbrook in East Aurora Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

20) St Patrick (Chicago) (23-9) (3A): Won Fenwick (Oak Park) Sectional. Plays #6 Mount Carmel (Chicago) at Credit Union One Arena (UIC) Supersectional.

21) Glenbard North (Lombard) (22-11) (4A): Won Addison Trail (Addison) Sectional on two three point buzzer beaters. First by JJ Hernandez, then junior Jack Schager in title game. Plays #13 New Trier (Winnetka) at NOW Center (Hoffman Estates) Supersectional.

22) Loyola Academy (Wilmette) (27-7) (4A): Lost to #13 New Trier (Winnetka) in Maine South (Park Ridge) Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

23) Lake Park (Roselle) (29-4) (4A): Lost on buzzer beater to #21 Glenbard North (Lombard) in Addison Trail (Addison) Sectional Semifinal. Season complete.

24) Glenbrook North (Northbrook) (26-8) (4A): Lost at buzzer to #13 New Trier (Winnetka) in Maine South (Park Ridge) Sectional Final. Season complete.

25) Lake Forest (25-8) (3A): Lost in St Viator (Arlington Heights) Sectional Final only scoring 21 points against #2 DePaul College Prep (Chicago). Season complete.
