This is my top regular season performances for this year of the games I've seen live over the season. Some great performances in the Area.
John Poulakidas, Neuqua Valley(Naperville)- 6'5" junior guard's 49 point performance in double overtime 92-89 victory at Bolingbrook on January 8th, 2020. This Elite 25 player hit threes from all over the court, step back mid range shots, Euro step layups and free throws. He had 47 at end of regulation, but played a total of one minute in the two overtimes because of leg cramps. Neuqua Valley overcame that to win the game. Best performance I saw all year.
Kendale Anderson, Leo(Chicago)- 6'7" senior forward's 20 points and 14 rebounds(double/double) in his team's 73-63 win over Kenwood(Chicago) at the Team Rose Shootout on December 15th, 2019 was exquisite. He threw his body around,, boxed out and crashed the glass with great energy.
Ahron Ulis, Marian Catholic(Chicago Heights)- 6'2"senior point guard's 26 points that were scored from all over the court engineered a 71-67 upset over Morgan Park(Chicago) at the Steve Pappas Shootout at DePaul College Prep(Chicago) on January 11th, 2020. The Iowa commit and Elite 25 player showed a lot of leadership by playing in the middle of Morgan Park's 2-3 zone.
DJ Williams, Thornton Township(Harvey)- 6'2" senior wing and Elite 25 player, was a terror on both ends of the court against Homewood Flossmoor at home on January 14th, 2020 in 55-43 win. He had 25 points on 5 three pointers, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. He totally shut down fellow Elite 25 player RJ Ogom, frustrating him into a technical foul in the 3rd quarter. Murray State Football commit.
Jaylin Gibson, Evanston Township- 6'4" guard and Elite 25 player, filled the stat sheet in 74-69 comeback win over Hillcrest(Country Club Hills) in War on the Shore on January 18th, 2020. He had 22 points 9 rebounds 3 steals and hit 15 free throws. He kept attacking the basket and drawing fouls on the opposition.

Crane team three point shooting(at least in first half)- They was on fire vs Plainfield Central in the first half at the Illinois Spot Lite MLK Shootout on January 20th, 2020. They made their first nine three pointers and 11 for 13 overall in the first half and took a 20 point lead into halftime. Five different players hit three pointers in the first half. They cooled off in the second half and almost lost the game but won 62-55.

Blake Peters, Evanston Township- 6'1" junior guard and Elite 25 player had 24 points vs Bloom Township(Chicago Heights) on 6 three pointers in 81-79 win at When Sides Collide.
Isaiah "Itchy" Holden, Evanston Township- 5'8" junior point guard controlled the tempo and continually attacked the basket vs Bloom Township(Chicago Heights) at When Sides Collide.
Dante Maddox Jr, Bloom Township(Chicago Heights)- 6'2" Elite 25 guard was magnificent in loss to Evanston Township at When Sides Collide. He had 22 points on 4 three pointers in 4th quarter to bring them back into the game. He was hitting threes from the parking lot and went down on his sword.
Bryce Hopkins, Fenwick(Oak Park)- There were a couple of games I could have picked him but I'll use this one. The 6'5" junior wing Elite 25 player had 37 points and 15 rebounds(double/double) and 3 steals in 69-56 win over Rolling Meadows at When Sides Collide on January 20th, 2020. His match up with #1 junior in the State Max Christie was worth the price of admission. He was scoring from all over the court and with his nice spin move to the basket.
Max Christie, Rolling Meadows-6'6" junior guard Elite 25 player, and #1 junior in State, went head up against #2 Bryce Hopkins of Fenwick(Oak Park). He had 31 points 7 rebounds 4 assists and 5 blocks in a 69-56 loss. He hit five three pointers, and made some nice spin moves of his own. Once again worth the price of admission.
Jaden Schutt, Yorkville Christian- I did not do a write up on the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout because that was January 26th, 2020, the day Kobe died in a plane crash. There were some great performances that day though. Schutt, a 6'5" sophomore had 17 points and 17 rebounds(double/double) in a 65-49 win over Lane Tech(Chicago). The sharpshooter hit only one three that day but did everything else on the court.
Mikell Jones, Farragut(Chicago)- 6'4" sophomore wing had a big time game at the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout. He had 21 points, 17 rebounds(double/double) 4 assists, and 2 blocks in 67-65 win over Proviso West(Hillside). He showed his versatility in this performance.

Amar Auguillard, Zion Benton-6'5" Elite 25 wing, had 23 points and 11 rebounds(double/double) in 78-71 win over Danville in the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout. He scored in a variety of ways and only hit two threes. He usually shoots more of them, but was all over the court this game.
Damontae Taylor, Zion Benton-6'5" combo guard had 19 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists, 6 steals, and 4 blocks. He had a couple of nasty dunks in transition and scored on mostly drives to the basket in the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout.
Nathaniel Hoskins, Danville-6'4" combo guard had himself a day in a losing cause to Zion Benton at the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout. He had 35 points on mostly mid range pull up jumpers. He kept Danville in the game until Zion Benton pulled away to a 7 point win.
Armond Williams, East Saint Louis- 6'8" senior forward had a monster game for the Flyers at the Orr Breast Cancer Shootout. He had 19 points, 22 rebounds(double/double), and 3 blocks which was one point from a 20/20 game. He alter a lot of other shots in 69-58 win over North Lawndale(Chicago).
Max Christie, Rolling Meadows- 6'6" Elite 25 guard is on my list again. He had 42 points 14 rebounds(double/double), and 4 blocks in 93-83 double overtime win at Buffalo Grove. He hit a number of shots from three, mid range, and finishing at the rim. They avenged an earlier loss to the Bison.
Kam Craft, Buffalo Grove- 6'5" sophomore Elite 25 guard had a magnificent game in a 93-83 double overtime loss. He had 46 points, 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 3 blocks. He scored on all kinds of shots from all over the court.
Antoine Bloxton, Bogan(Chicago)- 6'2" senior Elite 25 guard had the easiest 33 points I've ever seen scored in a high school game. It was in the Proviso West Holiday Tournament Title Game around Christmas Time. He scored in every imaginable way and looking like he was sliding by everyone with ease.
