I went to two MLK tournaments over the weekend. Lakes MLK Classic in Lake Villa and Wheaton Warrenville South MLK Tournament. I was at Wheaton on Saturday and Lakes on Monday. Here are some of the top performers.
Wheaton Warrenville South:
JJ Hernandez, Glenbard North (Carol Stream): Senior wing's stat line 13 points 4 rebounds 2 assists and 3 steals against Lake Forest Academy and 26 points 4 rebounds 1 assist 1 steal and 4 blocks vs Metea Valley (Aurora) both wins.
Jalen Crues, Glenbard North (Carol Stream): Senior forward had 13 points 4 rebounds 6 assists and 2 steals vs Lake Forest Academy and 13 points 10 rebounds (double/double) 1 stat and 1 block vs Metea Valley (Aurora) both wins.
Luca Carbonaro, Wheaton Warrenville South: Junior guard had 22 points 4 rebounds 5 assists 1 steal and 1 block vs Carmel Catholic (Mundelein) and 13 points 5 rebounds 5 assists and 1 steal vs Central (Joliet).
Max O'Connell, Wheaton Warrenville South: Senior wing had 19 points 4 rebounds 2 assists vs Carmel Catholic (Mundelein) and 11 points 5 rebounds 4 assists and 2 steals vs Central (Joliet).
Ryan Morton, Waubonsie Valley (Aurora): Senior guard hit 5 threes for his 15 points 3 rebounds 1 steal and 1 block in win over Central (Plainfield).
Matt Sessom, Waubonsie Valley (Aurora): Senior forward had 11 points 9 rebounds 2 assists and 1 steal in win over Central (Plainfield).
Tyreek Coleman, Waubonsie Valley (Aurora): Junior point guard had 18 points 3 assists and 4 steals in win over Normal Community.
James Parker, Metea Valley (Aurora): Senior point guard had 18 points 5 rebounds 4 assists 3 steals and 1 block vs Glenbard North (Carol Stream).

Devon Triplett, Central (Joliet): Sophomore guard had 14 points 3 rebounds and 1 steal in win over Wheaton Warrenville South.
Jaylin Murphy, Central (Joliet): Senior guard had 22 points 11 rebounds (double/double) 1 assist and 1 steal in win over Wheaton Warrenville South.
Noah Cleveland, Normal Community: Senior forward had 14 points 12 rebounds (double/double) 1 assist 1 steal and 2 blocks vs Waubonsie Valley (Aurora)
