Top players I saw over the weekend:
Class of 2022 Braden Huff(6'9") of Glenbard West(Glen Elyn)is the obvious #2 prospect in the class in Illinois. He can shoot the three, handle the ball while running the offense, and score with his back to the basket. He rebounds on both ends of the court. Versatile big man.
Class of 2021 Louis Lesmond(6'5") of Notre Dame College Prep(Niles) Harvard commit scored 35 points in a big time showcase game vs Fenwick(Oak Park). Looked like he didn't break a sweat out there. Hit a 3/4 court shoot at the overtime buzzer to win the game.
Class of 2023 Prince Adams(6'5") of Evanston Township scored on post moves, rebounded very well, and was a good rim protector blocking shots. He gets better with every game and is in the conversation amongst the top prospects in the class.
Class of 2023 Cameron Christie(6'4") of Rolling Meadows is making the case for #2 prospect in the class. He showed his scoring chops from three point range, and with two dribble pull ups from mid range. He ran the point like a field general as it looks like that could be his future position going forward.
