Per Scott Burgess of Prep Hoops Illinois, Class of 2020 6’5” wing Christian Shumate is transferring from Plainfield East to Bloom Township(Chicago Heights). This gives Bloom five Division 1 prospects. This is a HUGE development in the State of Illinois. He’s going to give them an extra player to hit the boards. This is making my job harder to rank a preseason #1 team in Chicago Area. They are already a major threat to win the Illinois Class 4A State Title this upcoming season. I’m sure there are more transfers to come in the next three weeks.
