Brief synopsis on #5 Benet Academy (Lisle) (8-0) vs #24 St Patrick (Chicago) (6-2):

East Suburban Catholic Conference Showdown:

Young Benet team started out with 4 blowouts but the last two have been single digits. This will be a huge test in St Pats bandbox gym. #1 sophomore Gabe Sularski has had a great start to his varsity career. He won MVP at the East (St Charles) Thanksgiving tournament. Have won high scoring and low scoring games. Senior Parker Sulaver has been a steady hand for this sophomore/junior laden team.

St Pats has navigated a tough schedule so far losing only to #9 ranked Glenbrook North (Northbrook) and #18 Marist (Chicago). They are tough at home in the bandbox gym with not a lot of space. Junior guard EJ Breland and senior AJ Thomas are fast, athletic guards who can give opposing guards fits.

Look for a tight game as this is first true road test for a young Benet team.
