Corliss goes to Matteson and wins the game by a 15-2 run to start the third quarter over a very young Southland College Prep team. It was a tight game in first half and sophomore Tristan Garner of Southland College Prep had 11 points 5 steals in first half. He scored only 1 point on 2 shots in the second half as Corliss focused their defense on him to get the ball out of his hand. Southland College Prep led 14-9 at the end of one, and game was tied at 21 at recess. Corliss came out of the locker room and went on a 15-2 run before Southland College Prep called timeout, but Corliss led 36-29 at the end of three, went up double digits and kept that margin for the rest of the game.
