Devin Askew commits to Kentucky!!!!!!!!

Class of 2021 6'3"point guard Devin Askew of Mater Dei(Santa Ana,CA) commits to Kentucky tonight on ESPN's Sportscenter. He's a consensus Top 10 player and #1 point guard in Class of 2021. He picked Kentucky over Louisville, Memphis, Arizona, and Villanova. He played for Team Why Not(CA) on the Nike EYBL Circuit. They made the Peach Jam Finals Title game. He's a point guard who can facilitate, get to any spot on the floor with his dribble, and shoot the three pointer very well. He's very quick getting to the basket and has a nice mid range pull up jumper. He'll need to work on his defense as most elite kids do, he rebounds very well from the point guard position. He's very good at running the offense but he can get too shot happy at times. He will not reclassify to Class of 2020 at this time. He'll revisit the possibility in the Spring, and my sources have told me he's waiting to see which Kentucky guards turn pro after the season. Smart thing for the young man to do. If he ends up reclassifying he will definitely be ready to step into college basketball next season.
