Class of 2020 6'2" combo guard DJ Steward of Whitney Young(Chicago) commits to Duke. He's my #2 senior in state of Illinois. He's a very good shooter and scorer, has gotten better at passing the ball and hitting the glass. He has good speed down the court, and has a good floater mid range jumper. He has a high basketball IQ that helps hide some of his deficiencies. He's also a high character young man with great academics. He needs to improve his defense, moving his feet to stay in front of the offensive player, and finishing at the rim. He's an average athlete and needs to get stronger. He's ranked in the Top 25 in America by most scouting services. Blessings to his career and congratulations.
