Game was at Hales Franciscan which is closed now as a school. It was an all boys African American Catholic school, one of the few in America. Big time basketball tradition with multiple Class 2A state titles back in four class system. Had stars such as Sam Puckett, Nate Minnoy and Jerome Randle to name a few. Loved going to games the played there as they played the Negro National Anthem before every game. Ok enough history here we go.

Johnson College Prep (Chicago) 77 Bulls Prep (Chicago) 27: I'll get to Seals in a minute. This game was never in doubt as Johnson jumped on Bulls right away withe their press and multiple steals to get a 17-10 lead at the end of first quarter. With about a minute to go Seals went down with an injury which looked like a cramp, so he came out of the game for the rest of the half. Didn't matter as Johnson led 37-15 at halftime. Seals came back in and just dominated the third quarter as it became a running clock of 65-21 at end of three. Seals sat out the fourth quarter as his teammates put on a show with nice passes and there point shots as well as layups. For Johnson junior guard Larry Kohn had 6 points 5 rebounds 7 assists 1 steal and 1 block. Senior guard Achilles Matthews on senior night had 14 points 5 rebounds and 1 assist. Bulls Prep was led by Aaron Watson with 8 points 11 rebounds and 1 steal. Johnson College Prep (Chicago) upps it's record to 11-8, 7-2 in Noble Gold. Bulls College Prep (Chicago) drops to 6-14, 4-4 in Noble Gold.

Terrance "TJ" Seals, 6'6" point guard, Johnson College Prep (Chicago): He outscored the other team by the time he left the game at end of third quarter. They ended up outscoring him by 1 point. I'm putting him at the position he's best which is point guard. He really played all five positions in this game. Dominated the proceedings in the 23 minutes he played. He filled the stat sheet in every category. He brought the ball up, played off the ball, got rebounds and pushed it off the break. Vision on this young man is extraordinary. He had one play where he got the rebound, pushed it, and threw a nasty spin pass from half court, across court to a teammate in stride for a perfect layup. One of the best passes I've seen in person in awhile. Shot 1 for 3 from three, one of the attempts was from about 30 feet. His stat line was crazy. He had 26 points 14 rebounds (double/double) 3 assists 7 steals and 4 blocks. Would have had a lot of hockey assists so hence a low assist total. Put him amongst the top 5 talents in the junior class and between 5 and 10 in my rankings.
