Walther Christian has struggled this season. They only have three seniors on their squad, and a bunch of sophomores and freshman. The struggled continued tonight as they visited Ida Crown and lost by a running clock. Ida Crown has not played as many games as others this season, but they have only lost once this season. Here we go:

Ida Crown Jewish Academy (Skokie) 66 Walther Christian Academy (Melrose Park) 38: These teams play in the Chicago Prep League. Both are Class 1A schools. Ida Crown led this all the way. They were the more aggressive team from the start with their press and crashing the glass on both ends of the court. They had fast break baskets on rebounds, made baskets, and turnovers. Did not matter. Ida Crown led 16-14 after one quarter and 40-21 at half, 64-32 after three quarters. Reserves played the entire fourth quarter. Ida Crown ups it's record to 7-1, 3-1 in conference play. Walther Christian drops to 2-17, 1-2 in conference play.
