32 team tounament, largest one tournament in the state. York Township (Elmhurst) is the host. State farm has as many with combined large and small schools. Bolingbrook is not here this year but should be a kaledescope of teams that have a chance to win it. Here we go:

FAVORITE: St Ignatius College Prep (Chicago): 7th ranked team in Chicago area. Come off loss to #2 Curie (Chicago) which they led most of the game. Balance of experience and youth. Senior Yale commit Chris Bolte is the leader. Inside/ out force. Senior Napaoleon "Nico" Harris IV mixes in with sophomores Amir Tucker and DJ Caldwell.

SECOND FAVORITE: St Patrick (Chicago): 17th ranked team in Chicago Area has run under the radar with undefeated record. Senior big man RJ McPartlin is a double/double machine. Senior Maurice Neely has gotten off to a nice start. Junior Omar Ajanovic is a King of Bounce who can step out and his threes. Junior Steven Quach is another quality guard.

DARK HORSE: Glenbard East (Lombard): 18th ranked team in Chicago Area has South Dakota commit Michael Nee as a sharp shooter. Seniors Jacob Marynowski and Sam Walton play hard and hustle on the glass. Senior backcourt mate to Nee is Danny Snyder who runs the offense.

SECOND DARK HORSE: Palatine: Only loss is to ranked Hersey (Arlington Heights). Illinois football commit Tony Balanganayi is a load in the interior, hard to move, a double/double machine. Already beat up their rival Fremd (Palatine) holding up their home court. Other top players are senior Abram Williams, and junior Brady May.
