No one seems to know when was the last time Romeoville beat Bolingbrook in boys basketball. Some old timers say it happened in the 70's and 80's. I do know it has not happened in Head Coach Robert Brost's tenure and the dominance continues.

#10 The Brook 68 #15 The Ville 58: This game started out all Romeoville as they led 24-14 at the end of the first quarter. No panic though from Coach Brost or his team, it just seemed like they knew they would come back and win like it's clock work. Romeoville only scored 34 points the rest of the game. Bolingbrook turned up the defense and Pettigrew decided to protect the paint, and the guards go out on the Romeoville guards and caused turnovers, missed shots, and a few fast break runouts. Romeoville still led 34-31 at half though they went cold in the second quarter that carried over to the rest of the game. EJ Mosley of Romeoville hit a long three at the end of the third quarter to tie the game at 45 going into the fourth quarter. Freshman Davion Thompson of Bolingbrook hit a three to start the fourth quarter and Bolingbrook never gave the lead back as they cruised to victory. Leaders for Romeoville were junior guard Kendall Cutler with a double/double of 18 points (4 threes) 11 rebounds 1 block. Junior point guard EJ Mosely added 14 points 2 rebounds 2 assists 1 steal and 1 block. Junior Adam Walker had a double/double of 12 points 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. Bolingbrook ups it's record to 13-2, while Romeoville drops to 13-3.

JT Pettigrew (6'7" junior wing) of Bolingbrook showed his versatility as he scored on post ups, drives to the basket and finishes, put-backs and hit a three. His unusual triple double was 21 points 15 rebounds 10 blocks and 1 assist.

Davion Thompson (6'3" freshman combo guard) of Bolingbrook picked his spots to score, had some key rebounds, and hit a key three to start the fourth quarter to put his team up for good. Had 16 points 4 rebounds 3 assists 1 steal. A special freshman.

Jason Lawal (6'5" senior forward) of Bolingbrook hustled on both backboards and hit some free throws on fouls in the paint. He had 11 points 12 rebounds (double/double) 1 assist 1 steal 1 block.
