Kentucky Basketball Practice Report

Writer: Big TimBig Tim

Per my source,( I did not watch the practice he did) here's what he observed:

Tyrese Maxey can shoot the ball but was very streaky.

Johnny Juzang played better than both Kahlil Whitney and Keion Brooks Jr

EJ Montgomery looked good in every facet, he's just playing and not thinking too much which is a good thing.

Immanuel Quickley was shooting the ball very well and playing alot off the ball.

Nick Richards played very well but my source said he's played well in practices in the past, so take it with a grain of salt.

Ashton Hagans(very muscled up) and Tyrese Maxey have the potential to be a very deadly guard combo on the defensive end. Alot of potential to just smother opposing guards.

Johnny Juzang can hit shots on all three levels. He could be a surprise starter(my opinion only).

Kahlil Whitney and Keion Brooks Jr are still learning how to finish plays not start them. Need to make quicker decisions having Nick Richards and EJ Montgomery at the rim.

Dontaie Allen is getting some run but selectively since he's coming off an ACL injury. He's been doing some one on one and should be ready for full action soon.

Nate Sestina was not in the building. He may have been in the training room.

That's the practice update.
