Lake Forest Academy does not play in IHSA State Playoffs. It's a boarding school in the North Suburbs of Chicago. They get players from all over the world, and play opponents from all over the United States. There are some good players on the team, a couple whom impressed today. Rich Township's Jamson Coulter Jr scored 37 tonight and his 1000th point. Here we go:

Lake Forest Academy 52 East (Rockford) 45:

Lots of missed shots in this game but plenty of action as both teams took shots pretty quickly as game was played with a shot clock. Plenty of rebounds to be had by both teams. Senior point guard Levente Tallos (6'3") showed an all around game and filled the stat sheet.Scored on drives to the basket, hit a couple of threes, and a couple of mid range jumpers. Junior center Botond Szabo-Zsamba (6'9") is a big bodied young man who had a double/double in the win. Used his big body to carve out space in the paint and score with left and right hand in the paint. East (Rockford) had balanced scoring from senior forward Marquis Goldsmith, senior guard Brian Harper Jr, and Julius Crawford. East (Rockford) led 13-11 after first quarter, Lake Forest Academy led 22-20 at recess, and 39-33 at the end of three quarters. Lake Forest Academy kept a 7-10 point lead through the fourth quarter, East (Rockford) never threatened to get closer.

Lake Forest Academy ups it's record to 13-13, while East (Rockford) from the NIC 10 dropped to 14-16.
