Marian Catholic held leads from 4 to 10 points out of the game till a 12-2 run in the 4th quarter led by senior guards Ahron Ulis, Joe Green, and Elijah Jones put the game away. Marian Catholic had a 33-28 halftime lead on a three point play at the first half buzzer by Ulis. Tinley Park sophomore sensation wing AJ Casey kept his team in the game in the second half with some buckets, rebounds, and blocked shots, but succumbed in the 4th quarter. Marian Catholic was led by Ulis with 24 points 10 rebounds(double/double) 2 steals and 2 blocks. He played in the middle of the zone on offense and cut up Tinley Park with inside buckets, and rebounds. Green had 12 points 3 rebounds 2 assists and 3 steals. Elijah Jones had 10 points. Sophomore guard Jeremiah Jones had 12 points and 4 rebounds off the bench. Casey had 20 points 11 rebounds(double/double) 5 blocks and 2 assists for Tinley Park. Senior forward Yitonis Nash had 10 points and 7 rebounds to support Casey. Marian Catholic ups it's record to 6-2 while Tinley Park drops to 6-4.
