I went to DePaul Athletic Center. Made it for 4th quarter of Hyde Park (Chicago) vs #22 Lincoln Park (Chicago) varsity game. Hyde Park scored the upset 63-56 according to my rankings. Cameron Wiliford had 20 points for Hyde Park in Coach Jerrel Jo Oliver's coaching debut. They will be considered for my rankings next week.

Whitney Young is loaded with freshman who played in both JV and Varsity games last night.
Whitney Young has Marquis Clark, Rykan Woo, Ricoantonio D'Alessandro, and Nasir Rankin
Kenwood Academy has Noah Mister.
Clark, D'Alessandro (who had a nasty two handed dunk in JV game), Rankin (can jump out of the gym), and Mister who made a big contribution in the varsity game. Future is bright for all these young men.
Whitney Young wins JV aka Frosh/Soph game 68-50. As I said they are loaded.
#4 Kenwood Academy (Chicago) 46 #3 Whitney Young 44. Young wore shirts that had "we have no rival" on them. Well Kenwood had other ideas and it's slowly becoming one. Kenwood has won two straight regular season games, but Young won last season when it counted in the semifnals of City Playoffs and Class 4A Supersectional. They could meet a couple of more times this season, it's worth the price of admission.
Junior big man Jaden Smith of Kenwood Academy changed the entire complexion of the game in a 2 minute span in the fourth quarter. He hit two mid range jumpers, had a couple of big rebounds and blocked a shot before fouling out. Whitney Young had the lead at the time, by the time he fouled out Kenwood was leading.
The big time players did not have good games offensively, but there was a lot of good defensive plays by both teams. There were also a lot of missed open shots and some sloppy play that was to be expected in first game. Kenwood could have won by double digits but they had a ton of missed free throws in the game.
Junior Sean Brown of Whitney Young is maybe 6'0" at the most and a forward. He's the ultimate glue guy every high school team needs. He can score (hit a couple of threes) rebound, defend point guards to power forwards. Did a good job of that this game and was the player of the game. This game changed when he committed his fourth foul in the fourth quarter. Is fun to watch for us purist of the game. May not be a big time college prospect, but makes his presence felt, everytime he steps on the court.
Dalen Davis vs Darrin Ames was a wash: Both did not play their best games. Davis is a Princeton commit who had a bad shooting night from the floor. Ames is a Kansas State commit who fouled out in the fourth quarter and missed a lot of free throws.
Isaiah Green hit the game winning jump shot though the Hillcrest transfer did not have a great scoring night, he showed up when he had to.
