This is a big time event with college coaches in the building to watch prospects. It goes from Friday, June 24th - Sunday, June 26th. 96 teams will play four games in the weekend. No tournament format this year. That is just too many games to play a tournament round. Wise decision by Ridgewood Coach Chris Mroz. Another opportunity for young men to go make that free money. Top matchups:

Friday:

12:30 pm: Rolling Meadows vs Glenbrook North (Northbrook) Court 3- Possible Sectional matchup next winter. Both teams have most of their roster back from last season. Senior Cameron Christie leads Rolling Meadows, senior Ryan Cohen leads Glenbrook North.

5:55 pm: Moline vs Glenbook South (Glenview) Court 5 St Patrick High School- Senior Owen Freeman transferred to Moline from Bradley Bourbonnais makes them an immediate contender for Class 4A State Title. He teams up with top senior point guard Brock Harding for deadly inside/outside combination, Glenbrook South returns senior guards Rodell Davis and Gavin Marr.

6:50 pm: Whitney Young (Chicago) vs West (Joliet) Court 2- Young is loaded with veteran returnees from Class 4A runner-up seniors Dalen Davis, Daniel Johnson, and Marcus Pigrim. West has two young guards in junior Justin McNair and sophomore Jeremiah Fears.

7:45 pm: Curie (Chicago) vs East St Louis Court 2- Big time athletic matchup on interior with seniors Jeremy Harrington Jr and Chikasi Ofoma of Curie. East St Louis has senior high flyer Macaleab Rich who has senior guard Antwan Robinson to help out.

Saturday:

9:50 am: Evanston Township vs Lincoln Park (Chicago) Court 2- Evanston has 4 transfers on their roster two of them are seniors Hunter Duncan and Josh Thomas. Lincoln Park has a very young team but one veteran senior guard in Myan Whitfield. Sophomore Keyshawn Barfield will have to dominate on glass for Lincoln Park.

10:45 am: Kenwood Academy (Chicago) vs Brother Rice (Chicago): Senior point guards Darrin Ames of Kenwood Academy vs Ahmad Henderson II Brother Rice. Get your popcorn ready. It's on and poppin.

3:20 pm Bolingbrook vs East St Louis Court 4- The Brook has a huge front line 6'8', 6'8", 6'9" but key is 6'2" point guard Mekhi Cooper. East St Louis has been described already.

4:15 pm Moline vs Whitney Young (Chicago) Court 3- Game of the weekend. Get your popcorn ready. That is all.

Sunday:

10:45 am Brother Rice (Chicago) vs West Aurora Court 4- Big time backcourt matchup here. Senior Ahmad Henderson II, and junior Cale Cosme of Brother Rice on one side. Junior Josh Pickett and sophomore Terrence Smith on other side for West Aurora.

11:40 am Proviso East (Maywood) vs Evanston Township Court 4- Guard matchup senior Jaloni Johnson of Proviso East vs senior Hunter Duncan of Evanston Township. Get your popcorn ready.
