I was at the second #5 New Trier vs #2 Glenbrook South matchup at the Titan Dome. New Trier went in and controlled the second half for a 51-45 win. Senior Dartmouth commit Jackson Munro had 20 points and 7 rebounds. He took it to Nick Martinelli all night making him play defense. Junior guard Jack Fiegen had 13 points on 3 three pointers. Senior guard Josh Kirkpatrick had 12 points. New Trier did a great job on senior Cornell commit Cooper Noard who didn't score a field goal until the last 2 minutes of the game. He ended up with 11 points 5 rebounds. Martinelli, an Elon commit ended up with 14 points 8 rebounds. Junior guard Rodell Davis Jr had 14 points on 4 three pointers all in the first half. They split the season series both winning road games. Not sure who will win the tie breaker for the regular season title, but I think they will meet a third time in the Glenbrook South Sectional Final.

I'll be headed out to Northwestern University tomorrow night to check out the most exciting college basketball player in the country Caitlin Clark. Yes that's Mens or Women's. Folks need to check her out in action. Drive home safely folks(shake keys).
