6'5" point guard Jalen Suggs of Minnehaha Academy(Minneapolis,MN) is announcing his college choice on ESPN2 tonight. He'll be announcing at halftime of the Sierra Canyon(CA) vs The Patrick School(NJ) game tonight. A consensus Top 10 player in the Class of 2020, Suggs final five schools are: Gonzaga, Florida, Florida State, Iowa State, and Minnesota. Jalen Suggs is also a four star dual threat quarterback in Class of 2020, but looks like he'll pick basketball for the next level. Jalen Suggs has a good three point shot with range, can finish at the rim, and has shown a nice mid range floater. He uses his strength to get to the basket more than dribble drive moves. He is turnover prone but plays hard all the time. He also uses his strength and physical play on the defensive end against opposing point guards. He's a very good passer(he's a quarterback after all), and rebounds well for his position. I would expect the pick to be Gonzaga, but does not mean it is a final decision. He's still looking at options to play professional basketball overseas. It's a shame we don't see him on a football field anymore as he is a ridiculous talent on the gridiron. He is making the right decision of playing basketball as there's a good chance he'll eventually play in the NBA. Best two sport star since Ronald Curry out of Hampton, VA.
