Didn't do a week 1 poll had to let some things marinate. Lots of movement. Here we go:
1) Glenbrook North (Northbrook) (6-0) (4A): Beat rival Glenbrook South at home. Senior guard Josh Fridman has picked up where he left off before his injury. Have been told he's playing well in early part of season. Senior guards Sam Lappin and Owen Giannoulias have been giving consistent production. Friday at Evanston Township should be interesting.
2) Warren Township (Gurnee) (6-1) (4A): Beat two Chicago Area ranked teams this week and even had a double header on Saturday winning both games. Freshman Jaxson Davis is doing his thing to begin high school career. Senior Alex Daniels has been solid on the interior and on the glass. Junior Javerion Banks has given consistent scoring on the wing and hitting threes. Libertyville and Stevenson (Lincolnshire) coming into the Blue Devils den this week.
