Not much to tell here as Neuqua Valley jumped out right away and was never threatened. Here we go:

Neuqua Valley (Naperville) 74 Christian (Yorkville) 43:

Unusual way to start the game on senior night as Neuqua Valley announce an all senior starting lineup but only started three of them along with junior Illinois commit Mason Martin and sophomore Cole Kelly. Neuqua led 18-8 after first quarter, 42-22 at recess, and 65-33 at end of third quarter which precipitated the running clock. Martin was in foul trouble with 2 fouls, never got his rhythm and ended up with 9 points in about a half total of play. Senior point guard Southern Illinois Edwardsville commit Jayden Riley never got it going offensively, and neither did his teammates. Neuqua doubled him whenever he had the ball, and tried to set up teammates who had some open looks from three. He ended up fouling out early in the fourth quarter. Mustangs shot 7/32 from three for 22% from outside the arc which put them behind the eight ball. To add insult to injury, Kelly had a nasty one hand left hand follow up dunk off a teammates miss from the corner in the third quarter. Seniors and other bench players were able to play the fourth quarter.

Neuqua Valley (Naperville) ups it's record to 27-1, 25 in a row. Should get the #2 seed in the Class 4A Bolingbrook Sectional. Christian (Yorkville) drops to 16-10 playing a tough schedule. Good chance to win Class 2A Seneca Sectional.
