Friday

Oak Park River Forest vs Fenwick(Oak Park) Chicago Elite Classic

These rivals get together every year to start this event. Big time student bodies and a lot of trash talk. Bragging rights on the line in Battle of Oak Park.

Evanston Township at Glenbrook South(Glenview)

Both teams are undefeated and Titans trying to knock Evanston off the mountain of seven straight Central Suburban South titles. They will be favored In the first of at least two matchups in conference play.

North(St Charles) at Wheaton Warrenville South

Max Love has gotten off to a great start his senior year for North. WWS is undef and in my rankings. Look for a hotly contested game.

St Viator(Arlington Heights) at St Patrick(Chicago)

Young St Viator takes a visit to the North Side of Chicago for a big time East Suburban Catholic Conference game with All-Area senior Timaris Brown and the Shamrocks. Look for a loud crowd in that small gym.

Riverside Brookfield at IC Catholic(Elmhurst)

Trap game for ranked RB? We will see.

Richards(Oak Lawn) at Hillcrest(Country Club Hills)

Richards will be looking to ambush Top 5 and talented Hillcrest. Motivation is high for the Bulldogs.

Hersey(Arlington Heights) at Rolling Meadows

Always a highly contested and close game. Can Hersey pull the upset if ranked RM and senior Orlando Thomas, junior Cameron Christie and crew?

Lyons Township(LaGrange) at Glenbard West(Glen Ellyn)

Can Akron recruit Tavari Johnson knock off #1? They will certainly give a big effort in that regard.

Two ranked teams going at it after tough Friday night tussle.

Kenwood Academy, Simeon(Chicago), and Whitney Young are playing out of state opponents.

St Rita(Chicago) vs Thornton Township(Harvey)

Both ranked teams have a loss and will be hungry. Illinois commits going against in sophomore Morez Johnson Jr for St Rita and senior Ty Rodgers for Thornton. Does Thornton have enough inside to deal with St Rita’s size? Should be an entertaining game.

Central(Naperville) vs Wheaton Warrenville South
