Rolling Meadows 44 Fenton (Bensenville) 38: Final of Chuck Mitchell Thanksgiving tournament at Fenton (Bensenville). Second straight title for Rolling Meadows. Defensive struggle as Fenton was in a zone the entire game and was watching Rolling Meadows star junior Ian Militec. Militec was tournament MVP. It was effective in keeping the score low, but they did not shoot a great percentage for the game. Rolling Meadows led most of the game but missed free throws in last minute kept Fenton around. They got as close as 3 points in the last 6 seconds of the game but Rolling Meadows hit three free throws for the final margin. Rolling Meadows was led my Militec's double/double of 17 points 12 rebounds 3 assists. Junior Jack Duffer, who made all tournament had 13 points Fenton was led by senior Alejandro Diaz with 15 points 3 assists and 5 steals followed by senior Xavior Gonzalez with 13 points and 2 steals.
