I've been to a few recent events and here are some of the top players at them:

This was at Benet Academy (Lisle) on January 25th, 2025. Joe Hendrickson of the Chicago Sun Times once again made some excellent matchups. All eight teams in the event are ranked. Great day of basketball put together:

Marist knocked Waubonsie Valley out of the ranks of the unbeaten.

Rashaun Porter of DePaul College Prep took it the length of the floor off a free throw miss. Got to about 5 feet from the basket, shot it off the glass, and missed. Impressive getting it coast to coast in 4.6 seconds to get a decent shot.

BREAST CANCER SHOOTOUT:


I was there for the second day January 26th, 2025 and saw four games that day. Thanks to Carlos Enriquez and this cause is very close to his heart. 16th year of the event. It started at Orr (Chicago) and is now at Rich Township (Richton Park).
