Under the radar talents at State Finals in Champaign that college coaches should check out!!!!

Some of these players are seniors, some are underclassman. Here we go:



Class 4A:


Karson Thomas, 6'3" senior wing, Marist (Chicago): Has been injured most of the year, has worked his way back and is coming off the bench for Marist. King of bounce who can hit mid range jumpers, and defend multiple positions.



Joseph Lubbe, 6'4" junior combo guard, York Township (Elmurst): Three level scorer who can get his own shot off the bounce or off the catch. Can guard all three perimteter positions



Ethan MacDermot, 6'3" senior combo guard, Benet Academy (Lisle): Does a little bt of everything. Can score on threes and attacks to the rim. Defends multiple positions. Australia import.


Zion Lee, 6'5" senior wing, DePaul College Prep (Chicago): Hits the glass hard on both ends, can step out and hit threes. Defends on interior and on perimeter. Comes off the bench and starts as well in certain lineups.




Class 3A:


Evan Frieders, 6'6" senior wing, Kaneland (Maple Park): Versatile player who guards every position on the court in high school. He can score from three, or on drives to the rim. Can play him in any lineup with size and length.


Tommy Donahue, 6'4" junior wing, Deerfield: Jack of all trades for his team. Defends, can shoot from three, scores on put backs, and attacks to the rim.



Alex Johnson, 6'3" senior combo guard, East St Louis: Big time scorer either off the bounce or the catch, attacks the rim and scores through or around contact. Defends all perimeter positions and can create for himself and others.



Brian Kizer, 6'2" junior combo guard, Leo Catholic (Chicago): Scores in a number of ways, from three, on attacks to the rim, and mid range. Takes his time getting to his spots and rising up for jumpers over defenders.



Class 2A:



Jace Allensworth, 6'3" senior combo guard, Notre Dame (Quincy): Toughness personified. Played football and it shows on the court. Finishes through contact attacking the rim. Plays hard all the time. Good passer, can hit the three point shot and mid range jumpers.



Latrell Kelley, 6'0" senior point guard, Farragut Career Academy (Chicago): Toughness, leader, three level scorer, good passer, defends on and off the ball. High academic young man (4.5 GPA). Finishes at the rim through and around contact. Four year starter with nice mid range pull-up jumper.



Deangelo Embrey, 6'3" junior combo guard, Farragut Career Academy (Chicago): Explosive scorer from three, or on attacks to the rim. Hits them off the catch or the bounce, nice mid range pull-up jumper. Defends multiple positions on the perimeter, has quick hands getting steals on defense. High academic young man (4.5 GPA).



Reggie Postlewaite, 6'2" senior combo guard, Manual (Peoria): Quick with the ball in the open floor, plays bigger than his height on the glass. Defends all positions on the perimeter, guards best player on opposing team.


Josh Humbles, 6'1" senior combo guard, Manual (Peoria): A do everything guard, can score from all three levels, defends multiple positions, hits the glass on both ends. Can run a team or play off the ball.




Class 1A:



Darrin "DJ" Laye, 6'0" sophomore combo guard, Marshall (Chicago): Plays hard all the time. Two end monster gets steals with quick hands on the ball, or playing passing lanes. Attacks the rim and finishes through and aroung big man. Good passer, unselfish, looks for others to a fault.


Parker Krogman, 6'4" senior combo guard, Eastland: Can score on all three levels, hits threes off the bounce and catch, can get to his spots in mid range, and finishes at the rim. A load to guard one on one. Hits the glass well for his position.
